Join us this year on Sunday, April 28th for our 5th Annual Beat the "Heat" Spay/Neuter Awareness walk. The walk will be held at the Lake Andrea Beach Pavilion (Hwy 165, west of Hwy H). Walkers will meet at the Beach Pavillon on the Southwest side of the lake.
Registration opens at 9am and the walk will begin at 10am. We will have raffles, a bake sale, merchandise and FUN! You can find our registration form here. Advance registration (for participants 9 years of age and older) can be done now through April 17th for $20 which includes a t shirt. Registrations received after April 17th through the day of the walk will be $25. Want to register online? See below for a link to our Eventbrite page. Kittens are born in all kinds of weather so we will walk rain or shine! Proceeds from the walk will benefit Kindred Kitties spay/neuter program.
Again this year, walkers are encouraged to collect pledges--You can help spay/neuter even more cats by collecting pledges. You can find our pledge form here.
We are also looking for sponsorships for this year's walk. Sponsors will be featured on our t-shirts so we ask that you submit your sponsorship form no later than April 5th, Your sponsorship can be in the form of a business logo, family name, or pet's name. Our sponsorship form can be found here.
Bring a friend, form a team, walk your dog (dogs must be friendly, leashed and up to date on vaccines, dogs not allowed in the indoor pavillion).
Come out and have a great time while bringing attention to an important issue – preventing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter.
Hope to see you there!
