Joey came to us in rough shape in March of 2015, estimated to be about 6 years old. Because of the condition he was found in, his tail became necrotic and we had to have a portion amputated. And he got lungworm from outside -- which has now been treated and cleared up. He was in the ICU for almost two weeks! However, after the proper medical attention and a lot of love, he is doing great! He is on a special diet, but feeding him is a snap and he does not shy away from his food.
At first, Joey is a bit shy, so his new family will need to give him time to get used to a new home. He does best in quieter surroundings, but has been fostered with dogs and cats. Once he is comfortable with new home, he WILL be the ultimate lap cat! Joey loves to be brushed and pet and will sit in your lap and purr like crazy. He is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. The time has come for Joey to find his forever home. He deserves it and he will make you the happiest companion there is.
