Rutherford is a “mascot” at the Kindred Kitties Adoption Center. He was found in Anderson Park with no fur and covered in sores back in 2006. He was very sick for many months and almost died. Rutherford was adopted twice but returned as he has incontinence in new places. He is neurotic, but very vocal and friendly. Rutherford craves attention and petting, but does not like to be picked up and held. Rutherford has auto-immune skin disorder requiring periodic steroid vaccinations when his skin breaks out.
