Once you have submitted your volunteer application, you will receive an Email advising you of the various opportunities there are for volunteering with us.
If you are under 18 years of age, please print a form so that you can have a parent or guardian sign it. You may bring it to our Adoption Center, scan and Email it to email@example.com or mail it to us at 614 59th Street, Kenosha WI 53140. If you are doing community service for your school, please be sure to bring in required school paperwork the first day you volunteer.
Volunteers who are doing court-ordered community service should contact 262/210-1999 to arrange a time to come to the Adoption Center to sign up and to establish a schedule. At that time, you should bring in any paperwork from the court related to the requirements for your community service (including time sheets or other directives). WE DO NOT PROVIDE COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHOSE INFRACTIONS INVOLVE DRUGS, WEAPONS OR FIGHTING.

Animal Care and Maintenance
Needed 7 days a week–morning shifts. Assist with the cleaning of the adoption center and animal care.
We host various fundraising events and attend many community outreach events each year. Volunteers help man booths and interact with the public.
We often need help transporting cats to the vet or to spay/neuter appointments.
Assist with the intake of new cats/kittens. *Additional training/screening required.
Off Site Adoptions
Show cats to potential adopters and explain the adoption process at weekend adoption events in the community.
Assist with filing, mailing projects, data entry, and assembly of adoption or other promotional materials.
Maintenance and Repair
Individuals with plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance experience can help with special projects around the adoption center.
Cat/Kitten Foster Parent
Temporary foster homes are always needed for kitties surrendered to us, including adult cats, shy cats, pregnant cats, kittens, or sick/injured cats. Ask us for more information on what is involved with fostering.
